Since 2008, Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health has been improving the health and quality of life of rural residents.

Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health is a not-for-profit corporation located in Goderich, Ontario, that aims to improve the health and quality of life of rural residents.

​Since its inception, Gateway has been governed by community-based volunteers who aim to advance rural health teaching and community-based research across four rural counties; Huron, Perth, Grey, and Bruce.
